More Than a Mere Formality
Cleaning & caring for shoes
Whether a tedious chore or a familiar ritual, polishing shoes demonstrably makes sense. This simple practice not only extends the lifespan of your shoes but also ensures that the comfortable feeling of wearing them lasts. Well-maintained shoes are also like a business card. They contribute significantly to a well-groomed appearance. Did you know? Shoes should not be worn on consecutive days. Allow them one to two days to air out so that moisture can dry completely.

General care tips
It is generally not advisable to clean shoes in the washing machine to avoid damage to the upper and the sole. If shoes get wet, they should dry slowly at room temperature. It is important not to place them on the heater or expose them to direct sunlight. It is best to remove the insoles and stuff the shoes with newspaper to dry them.

Cleaning of textile upper materials
Often, it's enough to simply dry-brush your shoes. For heavier soiling, you can also clean them with a damp cloth. To do this, simply dissolve a suitable cleaning agent in lukewarm water and clean the shoe with circular motions using a cloth. Afterward, dab it with a wet cloth and let it dry in a well-ventilated area.
