From design to finished shoe
We do not take the development of new shoe models lightly. Our uncompromising demands for well-thought-out functionality, best materials, and highest quality are in every single VADO shoe. The last is primarily responsible for how well a shoe fits. That's why we design and optimize the last models for later series production ourselves. After the first design concepts for a new model have been developed, materials are selected that meet both comfort and design requirements. A comfortable width in the ball area, a comfortable toe height, and sufficient volume for the natural gait line are important. The foot should not be constricted and receives support and stability in frequently stressed areas through the use of high-quality materials. For years, we have also integrated the latest shoe technology into our production.

At VADO, we traditionally create our shoes on the drawing board, with our product development focusing on functionality. All shoes are designed in our studios in Donaueschingen.
